The Quiet Oak

A family home that speaks softly and carries a great deal of white oak. A stone waterfall island anchors the kitchen beneath a tidy row of brass ceiling lights, while a sculptural plaster fireplace rises to meet the cedar ceiling with the quiet confidence of a lighthouse. The powder room features a floating stone vanity, and the dining room a cozy banquette under a brass fixture of decidedly botanical ambitions. A curved staircase completes the composition, as all good staircases should.
